It's good to have her support, but I dunno where else the necessary funds are going to come from. It's entirely my decision, and she promised to buy me a 430 in the future to compensate :p The brakes don't feel like newer cars feel; they don't just throw you forward like brakes on newer cars. Instead, they feel a lot like the stock brakes, they just stop the car harder and faster. It took some getting used to, as usually I would have to put a certain amount of brake pressure to stop a certain distance, and the Brembos required a lot less pedal pressure to stop the same distance. More pressure would stop the car very quickly, and I don't have to come close to stomping on them to get the front tires to squeal. I only did the fronts, and just painted the rears to match. The rear 350z Brembo brakes require cutting and rewelding the stock rear hub to fit, and I was told by some very reputable members here the rears weren't worth it as they aren't really any bigger. However, if you wanted the rears to match, the STI rear Brembo calipers bolt up perfectly, as long as you use the Mitsubishi EVO rotors. Strange, I know, but they all bolt up in the rear. I just opted to paint match, which cost much less and was much easier in the end. I did buy some high-temp Brembo decals and ground down the rear Nissan logo on the calipers so the stickers had a flat surface to stick to.
Cheers, JBrobst
